Want to get your post-keyword-targeted, SEO-optimized, and ready to drive more traffic?
If you answered "yes" to any of these, you are about to learn the secrets of making your blog post a keyword-target.

The Definite Guide of On-Page SEO Techniques

When it comes to customizing a website or a blog post, there are two main reasons to play:
  1. On-page SEO Techniques
  2. Off-page SEO Techniques
On-page SEO Optimizes content for target keywords within a single blog post. These include using the right titles, using the right keyword placements, ensuring content quality, and paying attention to many other factors.

Before I share some specific strategies, here are some non-technical things you can include today:

1. Improve user experience.
Make sure that your website is responsive and that broken links are kept to a minimum. For this, you have to use the Broken Link Checker.

2. Make sure that readers coming from search engines spend a lot of time on your site. If they hit the back button quickly, your ranking will drop too fast.

  • Make sure your site maintains a standard of professionalism.
  • Use proper copywriting techniques to keep people around.
3. Make good content.
  • Try the Benefit-Driven subtitles to get more engagement.
  • Don't write fluff
  • Seek and improve feedback.
So now I have 10 on-page optimization reasons to keep in mind when adapting your blog posts.

       META TAGS

This is the on-page SEO factor. This is because the more attractive and customizable your title is, the more people will click. And in general, the more clicks on your posts, the higher the rank.
meta tag

You should try to use the targeted keyword or keyword phrase at the beginning of the title (H1) tag, but if this is not possible, make sure it is at least somewhere in the title.

You should not repeat the same keyword more than once in the title tag because you think it will help the article level higher. It won't This can actually hurt your ranking. Don't do it

And shorten the title to 65 characters.

       Use SEO-Friendly URLs

Google states that the first 3-5 words in a URL give more weight. And our ranking factor study found that short URLs could have an edge in search results.

Use dashes to separate strings in your URL structure. These are called "beautiful" permalinks and are supported by most web browsers.

And always include your target keyword in your URL.

Here is the graph of using short URL:

       Start Title With Keyword

Your title tag is the on-page SEO factor. At first, you have to choose the right keyword from any SEO Checker tool or Google Keyword Planner.

In general, the closer the keyword is to the start of the title tag, the more weight it gains with search engines. Here is an example from my large list of SEO tools.

Also, Brian Dean found a correlation between keyword-rich title tags and first page rankings.

       Heading Tags

You should use the title tag to highlight different titles, sub-titles, and important points.

The title tag in WordPress is set to H1. You do not need to use any H1 tags anywhere in the article. One is enough. For category breaks, stick to the H2 and H3 tags.

Also, don't use too many H1 or H2 tags as Google's algorithms won't be like this.

       Dazzle with Multimedia

The text can only take up your content so far. Deploying images, videos, and diagrams can reduce bounce rates and increase time on site: two reviewers factor in user interaction rankings.

       Keyword Density

With the mixture of LSI keywords or Long Tail keywords, you should keep your keyword density close to 1.5% percent. But as Matt Cutts explains in the video below, there is no real magic formula. My suggestion is to use semantically relevant words to help search engines understand more about your content.

Use your original keyword once in the first paragraph and again in the last paragraph. And use it in content where it makes sense.

       Use Responsive Design

Google began penalizing mobile-friendly sites in the 21st and now live with the mobile-first index, a mobile-optimized site is now a must. What is the best way to optimize your site for mobile devices? Responsive design.

       Meta Description

Each of your blog posts should include a unique and relevant meta description.

meta description

Again, the keywords you use in your meta descriptions should be targeted keywords. I've seen a lot of SEO advocates that meta descriptions are not a ranking factor that I believe is not accurate. I've seen a great correlation with optimized meta descriptions and rankings.

When search engines sort keywords, it is also important for users to click on posts. You need to enter user-friendly meta descriptions that relate to your post and make sense.

Consistent with the meta keywords, Google has made it clear that they don't worry about them. However, some search engines, like Bing, can still take some care.

For better result, optimize your meta description correctly:

  • Click-through rate.
  • Perception of the quality of the result.
  • Perception of what your website actually offers.

Image optimization helps a lot in driving traffic from image searches.

Keywords like "Image Title" and "Alt Text" help make your blog post more focused and targeted.

But more importantly:

Pictures make it busy.

And the more engaged users are, the more likely they are to get stuck, which will increase your overall rank.

But here is a very important point to note. Larger images will make your site slower, and gradually increasing the loading site will reduce your Google rank. So this is very important

  • Compress images
  • Use a caching plugin(For Wordpress).
  • Use CDN.

       Word Count Per Post

Blog posts don't have a lot of words that usually don't do well in search engines. This is why they are generally seen as "less informative".

Sure, there are exceptions, but creating a post with at least 2400 words is the new standard for a general information-based blog.

It is especially true if you are targeting highly competitive keywords, it is always better to research and be extra informative than not giving enough information.

Although there is no "official" count, longer posts tend to rank better because generally there is more information.

       Internal Linking
The huge part of SEO is Internal Linking.
Insert links to related posts from your blog inside your blog posts.
internal linking

Interacting with blog posts will help your blog readers spend more time on your blog and pass the page rank on other pages of your site.

When connecting, try to use a keyword as anchor text but be very careful not to overdo it.

Internal links are relevant to the original post show search engines that you are providing additional information beyond what is being displayed in the content.

But make sure your interconnection is relevant and necessary.
Why Wikipedia is more popular? It's Internal Linking
And if you want to see a great example of maintaining an internal link to your site, check out Wikipedia.

They add lots of keyword-rich internal links to each page:

       Outbound Linking

This is an easy, white hat SEO strategy to get more traffic.

Outbound links to related pages help Google determine the content of your page. It also shows Google that your page is the focus of quality information.

Basically, 'Internal Linking' and 'External Linking' are also the part of Link Building in SEO tutorial.

      Boost Site Speed

Google records that page loading speed is an SEO ranking signal (and they've recently made PageSpeed even more important). You can speed up your site by using a CDN, compressing images and switching to fast hosting.

Make sure your site doesn't take more than 4 seconds to load: MunchWeb has discovered that 75% of users will never revisit a site that takes more than 4 seconds to load.

You can easily test your site's loading speed using the great GTmatrics and Google PageSpeed Insight

Conclusion - On-page SEO Techniques

The things that make the most space are the most informative, the most interesting, and the most useful. Try to create content that readers love, and search engines will love you too.
